Marco is a singer who lives in London and is now collaborating with the Istituto Mod.A.I®; the only institute in the world to conduct the basic research in Applied Vocal Physiology.
He is currently the vocal coach at a secondary school in North London. He is also teaching private vocal lessons, as well as organizing seminars in conjunction with the Istituto Mod.A.I®.
As a child Marco began to study the guitar by himself. By 2000 his passion for the instrument had increased intensely,
so he decided to study music professionally. He studied acoustic and electric guitar with Davide Rebuffa and Gabriele Ferro, exploring different styles such as Blues, Rock, Jazz and the Acoustic Music.
In the same year he discovered his love for singing and begun to study the Functional Method by Gisella Rhomert as a singer, under the lead of Marco Farinella. During the following years, Marco undertook a path that led him to research for a more operative and complete way to understand and perform music. He tried the more complete methods to read music at sight, such as the Italian Goitre by Roberto Goitre and the Hungarian Kodály by Zoltán Kodály.
He was always looking for something better and more complete than what the traditional music pedagogy could offer.
With this in mind, Marco joined the newly born Mod.A.I Institute, in 2005, where he started training as a teacher of the Mod.A.I.® Method, which then evolved from the Functional Method.
Under the lead of Marco Farinella (director of the Istituto Mod.A.I®) once again, Marco has attended all 2 years of the thematic seminar and has now finished the 3 year teaching course.
He has become a complete and successful vocal tutor and up until now the only one in the UK using the Mod.A.I® Pedagogy
