The Istituto Mod.A.I.® is an italian institute based in Turin (Italy), it was founded and it is directed
by Marco Farinella. Its aim is to put into practice the latest discoveries on singing
and instrumental practice
 through the development and training in matters related to
the sound. The main field of work is the Physiology Applied to the artistic performance
enhanced with educational and rehabilitating aspects.


The pedagogy comes from studies conduct by the Functional Method by Gisella Romerth
(Germany) at the Institute of Ergonomics of the Technical University of Darmstadt.
The basic reserch, on the other hand is carried out through partnerships and close
collaborations with sector specialists, professionals, public and private bodies. 
The result is a surprising and innovative methodology
, thanks to constant and
uninterrupted research, capable of bridging the traditional gaps due to
the scarcity of studies and continuous misunderstandings between artists and scientists.
